Sean - 8 months (2/3rds of a year)

Today Sean turned 2/3rds of a year old. That's right folks - 8 months!

Luckily, it was a Sunday so we could celebrate this monumental day together as a family with a walk on the Campbell trail and into downtown Campbell where farmers market was going on. After walking through farmers market we walked a mile down the nearby Campbell trail to the dog park. We spent 20 minutes or so there before heading back, which completed the two mile round trip on the trail.

The dog park just got upgraded to artificial turf... very nice!

It was fairly warm today so Bosco got a little worn out by the long walk. Darcy had the idea to put him in the bottom storage area in the "BOB" stroller. Here is a video of what that looked like:

We are amazed at how happy Sean is most of the time. He barely cries, and only fusses when he's hungry or tired. He is a great eater, and smiles all the time! He is also a great crawler, which is fun to watch, but at the same time, makes him much more high maintenance. Gone are the days when we could set him down with some toys and take care of some chores or watch a TV show without worrying about what he may get into. These days we have to always be weary of where he is, what he is getting into, or what he may be putting in his mouth. As we look ahead to the next and final third to the first year of his life, we look forward to his first word(s), possibly his first steps, and all the other subtle firsts/developments I can't think of right now.

Some recent photos...

Happily playing with his toys:

You can see his two bottom teeth in this one:

He likes to suck his left thumb:

Here are two by the TV equipment - one silly and one serious:

Next weekend we will be in Ceres/Modesto enjoying Easter with Darcy's side of the family while watching the Masters!
