Sean's First Christmas

Although he's a little young to really participate or enjoy it, we just celebrated Sean's first Christmas. We left Campbell on Monday night and drove to Modesto to stay with my parents. This was our first year celebrating Christmas without my sister Meghan, who was in Washington D.C. with her girlfriend Cat and Cat's family. We missed you guys! On Tuesday night, we went to our Aunt Becky's house to see the Carvalho family (my mom's side) and make enchiladas. Then Wednesday morning we opened presents at my parents.

Here's Sean on my parents new couch, it makes for a good background

Jeff, my mom and I played a game called Settlers of Cattan all day Wednesday before heading to the Baker's house for our Christmas Eve party with the whole family.

On Christmas morning we drove to Santa Rosa to see Jeff's family. We opened presents when we got there and then went to Grammie's house to see the rest of the family.

Yesterday we hung around Jeff's parents house working hard to get their new HD tv and BluRay player working. We got everything working except the DVR (which is Comcast's fault). Jeff's grandparents watched Sean last night while we went to dinner with the family, minus Trisha who left for Thailand last night.

We drove home this morning and are glad to be home, but it was a great trip. We are lucky to have such big families on both sides and fortunate to be able to spend the holidays with all of them. We hope you all had a wonderful holiday with your families!
